Many of you probably remember audr09, our favorite admin-turned-griefer that eventually got banned, but then became the first member to get "tarded." He pops in every once in a while to say hi, and came on the other night and clearly confessed to his deeds. Here's his tale, in his own words!

Damn what a shit reception this got at the time it was told. The tale of audr09 deserves better than that. I will see it retold in all his glory. So much brilliance left out—or drowned out, rather, by the impertinent replies. You Karpathian boys need to chill. That took all of eight minutes to tell. Would have taken less and had richer detail had you not been such a shit audience.
There are a few events that stand out above all others in the history of this server: when we changed maps, for instance, promotion or demotion drama, and we’ve certainly had our share of griefers, from Team Avo to their fanboys to free agency hackers. All that pales beside the fell tale of audr09. We shall build a fitting monument to him, our martyred, patron saint of the long grief. He maketh all other griefers appear as hardcore douchebags.

that “confession” does not do the story justice. There was so much more to it than that. I will say, it was quite interesting to watch it all play out. He was like an escaped convict with the dogs closing in on him. He let his guard down for one second and then the dogs ate his ass alive! I do love though that he is now “the tard” that shit is hilarious.
I still have the audio logs from investigating that whole thing. By the way Audr, if and when you read this, just because I got an orgasm from banning your ass doesn’t make what you did a “public service”, all you did was be an ass hole and all that you prepared for is realizing that you’re an asshole.

Please learn how to formulate, capitalize, and punctuate a sentence properly before speaking again.
Social Engineering is when a griefer manipulates players into thinking that they are decent and trustworthy players, as well as directing the blame of griefing to someone else. This sort of griefer is significantly more dangerous than others due to their ability to blend in with innocent and trusted players. This can cause confusion throughout the server and can even cause un-deserved bans on other players. If the griefer is very dedicated to a server, they may even become an Op. When this happens, they can use their power to de-op all other ops and ban them, and can then grief as much as they please without anyone to stop them. If this worst case scenario occurs, the Admin can use operator commands through the server’s console to de-op the griefer and re-op themselves.

I remember one of my first months on the server, audr09 was on, I knew he was a former griefer. Probably 2 or 3 days later, laurensv and thomasv griefed spawn and I thought it was audr09, I didnt know tards couldn’t do anything til Zeeco got on as a tard. But now I know that audr09 was just an awesome troll. :D
I wonder why I don’t have a story yet. I’m so fucking ancient that half the current players haven’t even heard of me.
